If not the 1st option then Google is your best friend. Without the license only PA VM 5.0.6 based image able to log the traffic in the monitoring TAB. HINT HINT!!

If you company does not have licensing for this in the portal you can discuss your lab needs with your SE and obtain non-production VMs via this channel as well.
