How is the EOS (End of Support) for PAN-OS 10.0.12-h5, which was released on January 8, 2024?

There are still firewalls running PANOS < 10.0 out there, so those need to 'pass over' 10.0 to get to 10.1 or later.

For that 'hop' you need to install the latest (10.0.12-h5) release so you don't run into bugs mid upgrade

Other than as a layover upgrading to 10.1 or later, you're not supposed to stay on 10.0 as it is no longer supported
