Hi,
Is it possible to Filter out whatsapp video only from PA220, or of there is a workaround solution to allow only Text and Images on a PA220
We have business need to use whatsapp text and Images only
Thank you

You can create Rule to allow application whatsapp-base and whatsapp-web.
Then create second rule to block the application whatsapp-voice.

@MP18 Thank you for the reply
Unfortunately that solution didn't resolve my question. - sorry I got late to reply -

I tested with below rule and whats voice, video and that url does not work.
Here is screenshot of that rule.
Also the app whatsapp voice has below dependencies
rtcp, rtp-base, stun, whatsapp-base
So you need to block these also.

@MuhammadAbdeen I would be careful in blocking these other applications "rtcp, rtp-base, stun" especially RTCP and RTP-base. These are foundational to content presentation on the web. So be sure blocking these apps will not have any unintended consequences. (Make sure it's tied to the correct custom URL category, and intended user groups)

Thanks for mentioning that applications Brandon.
I forgot to mention those and their effect.
Much Appreciated !

@MP18 NP...Yeah I learned that lesson the hard way about 10 years ago when I first deployed Palos...Flash, RTP...all that stuff will render a page useless if you're not careful haha
