GlobalProtect Connect to one of two data centers

L2 Linker

My customer has two data centers with GP access.

What is the best way to make this a redundant setup and have the GP client prefer to access the closed DC and fail-over to the other DC, in case the preferred DC becomes unavailable?

Thank you for your time.

L3 Networker

in the portal config, for the agent config

simply setup two external gateways, one for each site at a minimum with equal weights.

they will automatically prioritize the closest one based off latency/responsiveness.

if one is not available, the globalprotect agent will have no choice but to use the other one since one is not responding.
