Hi Team,
1) We have a customer who wants to block all AI-based applications but the applications are not getting blocked.
2) Initially, we created a application group policy in Security Policy and added all AI-based applications with action as deny. After commit the AI applications were getting blocked successfully. However, Claude AI was still accessible and was not getting blocked.
3) According to the customer, The behavior appears to be intermittent, as the applications are sometimes blocked and sometimes accessible.
4) For Claude-AI we created a URL Filtering profile to block Claude AI and added below URLs to the block list. However, Claude AI is still accessible
AI-code-assistant
AI-conversational-assistant
AI-data-and-workflow-optimizer
AI-media-service
AI-meeting-assistant
AI-platform-service
AI-website-generator
AI-writing-assistant
*.claude.ai
www.claude.ai
https://claude.ai/
5) Could you please suggest me the next appropriate steps to block all AI-based applications, including Claude AI
Device Model: PA-440
PANOS: 11.1.13-h9

Hello,
The application data may not show ocrrectly if you are not SSL decrypting the outbound traffic. I would suggest to first block it with DNS and URl filtering. Also look into SSL decryption (however this could break normal traffic so be prepared.).
