Is it possible to controll cooling fans speed?

Is it possible to control cooling fans speed? if yes, kindly let me know the CLI commands for the same.

Hi Gururaj,

Currently there is no way to change the default speed of the fan on the Palo Alto Firewalls.

Do you know if there are any plans to implement this? The noise coming from the PA-3020 seems very excessive and can be heard outside the server room over a bunch of servers, switches etc...

"Sounds" familiar, PA2020 is loud too. Probably same hardware base...

I have PA-3050. All fans are running at 12-13k RPM. I'm thinking the only one way to change fans speed is to get access to BIOS.

BIOS is locked by password.
