New to Palo Alto

Hi all

I am a firewall engineer and I am completely new to Palo Alto firewalls. Would any of you be able to recommend any training, certification I should start with?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

I would install a VM and watch a CBT Nuggets video training and registered on the Palo Alto support portal and watch their free video training.

Thanks

Hi M,

The best place to start would  be the learning centre here:

https://paloaltonetworks.csod.com

You can register for training courses and watch the online videos. It also has FAQs and what training you should take to in order to pass the various exams PAN offer such as the ACE & PCNSE.

I recommend you start with the 101 configuration essentials video.

hope this helps,

Ben

Hi,

If you would like to further expand your knowledge surpass the 101 essentials traning, then booking yourself into a 201 and 205 training course to take yourself to the next step.

Exclusive-Networks offer brilliant training facilities and were more than satisfactory when I did mine.

Isn't that right, bmorris?

Regards

Jack
