Palo alto global protect portal and gateaway

L3 Networker

Can we disable the global protect portal & gateway and reactivate it whenever we needed it instead of deleting it entirely?

We are using 9.1.3

Hello @Jatin.Singh

You could deny access to the portal and gateway, using the security policy.

If this is not applicable, you could park the portal and gateway on another IP address (e.g. a non routed private IP bound to a loopback interface).

@Jatin.Singh,

The security rulebase entry denying traffic, as mentioned by @JoergSchuetter, is going to be the option that I would go with. Whenever you need access you can simply remove that entry.
