I have renewed license for Palo altos for another year. Expiration date is reflecting correctly on the support page but not on the
firewall under Device-Licenses . That is still showing old date. Its been atleast a week,I assume it should sync.
Or do we need to hit Retrieve license keys from license server after renewal to reflect dates on the firewall.

PAN device automatically fetch the latest license within 30 days before it expires, if your device has more than 30 days, it does not sync-up.
The timing which kicks sync-up process is at approximately 4am, you can see similar logs as below:
License for feature threat expired on YYYY/MM/DD
License for feature url-filtering expired on YYYY/MM/DD
