How can reassign the VM Evaluation authorisation to new PA-VM after rebuilding the VM firewall?
Kind regards Zoumana

Hello Zoumana,
Contact with support and they will be able to do a back end transfer of the VM serial number if you move to a new virtual machine or a new partition. You need to provide the VM serial number and the new CPUID / UUID. This information will appear on the Dashboard under General Information of the VM firewall. Once the back-end task will be done, then you can follow below mentioned steps:
1. Login to the Support Portal
2. Go to My Devices
3. Search for the serial number.
4. Click PA-VM to download the license key to a laptop.
5. Manually upload the license key on the new VM.
6. Reboot the VM.
7. Retrieve the license keys – Device tab>Licenses > Retrieve license keys from server.
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Support will be able to track the serial number by auth codes. Please open a ticket with PAN support.
Thanks

Hello Zournana,
Support will map CPUID/UUUID with License/Authcode, once that is done, you should be able to get serial number via manual License key.
This is a Security protection, so no one can use PAN box without licenses.
I will not be able to help you with CPUID/UUID map unless you open a ticket. Its a support issue.

Hi Hardik, Hulk
Can we do VM-100 HA on single NFR or Lab bundle license?

Hi Javith,
With single License only one firewall can pass data, so practically its not possible.
However, without license your management plan will function as it is. So, you would be able to set up HA on management plan ports only.

We are upgrading the VM-300 firewall on azure from PanOs7 to PanOs8.
So we built a new Pan0s8 VM-300 firewall with eval-license and imported the device state from the old one.
Now we also need to migrate the license from that old VM-300(holding eternprise-premium license) to the newly created VM(holding eval-license). Can anyone suggest the steps.
