In order for Support to provide a root cause for the failure please open a support ticket with the following information.
1) Gather a trace of the log-receiver process. To gather a complete trace please run the following command 3 times spaced apart by a few seconds.
> debug software trace log-receiver
Be sure to copy all of the output to a text file.
2) Generate Tech Support File
For an immediate resolution you may try to restart the log-receiver.
> debug software restart log-receiver

Stefan
