I am trying to perform some forensics into a user activty but Palo Alto logs are not really helping me a lot. I mean, I see a traffic for some IPs but when I click the maginifying glass icon, I see the category in it but not the actual URl. I have checked the URL filtering profile and it is set to alert.
has anyone observed this?

at the bottom of the detailed view, there should be several lines of log including their type
is there one label;led 'URL' and have you tried clicking it? it should contain the url information

@reaper Thanks for the response. Like I said, I see URL info on some of them but for some, it just has one log and it shows the URL category(sometimes any) but not the actual URL.

As you can see, I obtained 2 different traffic log detailed log views. They go through same sec rule and same url filtering policy. But, firewall picked up URL on log but not other. this is happening to many other logs as well.

Was there a solution found for this or suggested? We are facing a very similar issue. We have both URL filtering licenses. Cloud and PAN-db. Yet, nothing gets logged for categories in URL profiles that are set to alert. It's quite concerning as very important forensic information is not being recorded.
The behaviour is pretty much as described above.
Thanks and for any response. We are waiting for TAC to get involved.
