When i use Run now for custom reports PAnorama M100 takes long times and it also sometime times out
Any reason why running custom reports with run time option it times out?
Depending on the search criteria and the number of records being searched, it can take a while for the box to actually complete the request. The M-100 appliance was also never extremely powerful, so it taking a while to run more in-depth reports over a large amount of logs isn't entirely surprising.
When you say that it times out, what exactly are you refering to here? Is the SSL Exclusion timeing out in the browser due to inactivity, is the SSL session to the GUI closing, does the admin session timeout due to inactivity, or does the M-100 clear the temp report before it can actually be served in the GUI?
We have Doubled the memory on the M100 and also we have 2 M500 as log collector
Still it shows to run 30 days report estimated time is
Estimated report run time is 11:16:1 hrs. You may choose to clear this report.
Does it mean 11hours?
For timing out i mean the M-100 clear the temp report before it can actually be served in the GUI?
how can i check the status of this running report?
show jobs all does not show this?
