Hello,
We had PA550 , now moved to PA 440 and configuration migrated from 550 to 440 , and can able to connect with old version of global protect ; but newer version we can't able to connect .
For the newer version of Global protect we are getting the following error .
Gateway gw: could not verify the server certificate of the gateway.
Thank You
Satheesh

Get a valid certificate for your GlobalProtect gateway, or if you already have one make sure its actually setup properly. If you don't want to purchase one at least create a valid self-signed certificate that you can give out to clients.

It is as @BPry is saying as in older versions I think because of a bug the SSL certificate of the gateway was not checked but in newer versions it is and this cert check can be ignored for the portal but not for the gateway.
