John Linkowsky (@johnlinkowsky) is a Board Member for the Palo Alto Networks Fuel User Group and has been using the LIVEcommunity for a number of years. He sees the LIVEcommunity as a platform that allows users from around the world to search for content written by support engineers, partners, and customers who he describes as subject-matter experts. LIVEcommunity is beneficial, according to John, because of the diversity of perspectives and experiences represented and the wealth of information that it delivers to users. John uses the LIVEcommunity to post questions and also relies on it as an alternative to support.
John says that LIVEcommunity allows users to ask more philosophical questions that support may not have the time to address. He believes that the gamification feature of the LIVEcommunity provides an incentive for users to post more and more content, which can then be used by other users to find answers to their questions before calling support. The Knowledgebase on the LIVEcommunity is constantly growing as support engineers and others post solutions to problems they have solved. This is extremely beneficial for customers as it allows them to find answers to their questions without needing to call support every time.
