40G ports flap in PA 3430

L0 Member

Hi,

We are facing uplink issues between PA 3430 40G to Cisco Cat 9407R VSS.

Cisco side  QSFP-40G-SR-BD, CISCO-AVAGO, Cisco part number - 10-2945-02
PA side - Vendor Name: AVAGO, Vendor Part Number: AFBR-79EBMZ

Tried the below,

Kept one single port in port channel and tried
Tried with Active, passive, slow and fast from PA, same active and passive from Cisco side
Failed over firewall and tested
Changed the ports, transceivers and cables, tried in 40G and 100G ports as well in Cisco
Used Cisco BIDI transceivers on both PA and Cisco side and tested
Changed the SR4 transceivers and used MPO cables on both PA and Cisco side

still the flap happens. Please let me know any one faced the same issue or the fix you applied.

Thank You.

Given the persistent issue, consider cable integrity, transceiver compatibility, port channel configuration, physical layer diagnostics, software version compatibility, and environmental factors. Consult vendor support and involve a network expert for further diagnosis and resolution.
