Hello everyone,
I would like to know the following three points about the specifications of the A-1400 series power supply.
1. The maximum power consumption value is different between the PA-1400 series spec sheet and the hardware reference.
Is the maximum power consumption value of the A-1400 series listed in the hardware reference correct?
PA-1400 Series Spec Sheet
https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/apps/pan/public/downloadResource?pagePath=/content/pan/en_US/resour...
p.6 Power Consumption (Avg/Max)
PA-1410: 250 W/290 W
PA-1420: 260 W/300 W
PA-1400 Series Hardware Reference
https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/hardware/pa-1400-hardware-reference/pa-1400-series-specifications/...
Power consumption
Maximum—180W (not including PoE load)
2. If the power supply is made redundant, will the power consumption remain the value stated in the document?
(If the hardware reference is correct, will the maximum remain at 180W?)
3. When there is redundant power supply, will the power be distributed between both power supplies? Or will it be supplied by only one of the power supplies?
