Hello @ManojGuttikonda - I assume you're talking about a situation where you have DHCP issuing an address to the NGFW with the NGFW as a DHCP client, but you have statically defined the DNS entries on the NGFW. You want to know whether using DHCP Option 6, which defines DNS servers for clients, will override those settings.
While I haven't tested this, to the best of my knowledge, the static configuration will override that issued by DHCP.

I wanted to set three or four DNS server IP in the DHCP scope options. I set the first two the regular way - primary and secondary. Then I added custom DHCP option 6 and added two more. However, the clients are now only getting the first one specified with the option 6 and not getting primary or secondary DNS IP nor the additional Option 6 DNS IP, on the IP lease. What am i doing wrong here? Any suggestions? Thanks much in advance!
