Built-in External Dynamic Lists - Not showing so they can be added to shared Policy

L0 Member

I am currently attempting to make all of my firewals look the same from a policy perspective as possible and I would like to know if there is a way to add the

Built-in External Dynamic Lists

To the shared policy.  I understand that each firewall is updating the list based on the dynamic updates received but, I would thing that these items should be allowed to be installed in the shared policy for all firewalls.

Please let me know if this is by design or if I need to do something else to get them add to shared policy for the device groups.

TIA

KT

Hi @Ken_Taylor ,

I use EDLs in my Shared device group security policy, and I can select them.  Please see the pic below.

Make sure that your EDL is located in Shared on Panorama

Thanks,

Tom
