Can Prisma Cloud get AWS security findings without integration with Security Hub?

I have a customer who is seeking the value of integration with AWS Security Hub with Prisma Cloud. I am new to Prisma Cloud personally and only an SME in AWS Security Hub. It is my understanding that Prisma Cloud can ingest and discover security findings independently through the read-only IAM role. If this is the case, what is the specific value that Security Hub integration brings? Is this just duplicating functionality or is Prisma Cloud required to be integrated with Security Hub to receive the findings?
