I need to upgrade oyr AWS instance of PAN OS from 8.0 to 9.0.
I had a question - on AWS can i upgrade using the device> software download > install or do i have to upgrade from the marketplace?

In-place upgrades should be done from the Software Download option within the firewall gui. No need to replace the AMI from the marketplace.
