Exporting the Feature Adoption for my client

L3 Networker

Hi Everyone!

I am new on generating on-demand BPA thru AiOps for NGFW.

I tried exporting the Feature Adoption summary but it gave me a .gzip file format. I am not sure how to use this.

I just want to export the same view or maybe PDF.

May I ask for some of your advise?

Regards,

Renz

Hi Renz,

As of now, you are unable to export the Feature Adoption Dashboard as a PDF. You can extract the downloaded GZIP file using an app like 7-zip. This will give you four documents.

You can then convert the data in Excel by opening a new Excel page, click on Data > From Text/CSV, select a doc to Import, and then Load it into Excel.

The four documents are broken down into Adoption Trend, Adoption Summary, Adoption Missing Rules, and Adoption Compliant Rules. You can open all four in the same excel spreadsheet, Excel will separate them into their own tabs at the bottom.

Hope this helps and hopefully Palo will allow a PDF download eventually. In the mean time, I have just been using the Snipping Tool to grab a picture of it.
