We have blocked all web chats via Paloalto , but we cant stop Gmail Web Messenger . In other way, how we can stop chatting via gmail web or Yahoo web messanger ?

yes, i have tried this , but it is not working, by the way i can stop yahoo web messenger. If i checked that yahoo list includes yahoo -web messanger, but in gmail ID app just only Gmail-base, Gmail-chat, Gmail-enterprise. There is no Gmail web messanger on the list.

Use google-talk and gmail-chat.

If you are talking about the gmail chat with in web...you first need to decrypt Gmail traffic via SSL Decrypt policy and then apply the app block security rule accordingly (assuming that all the traffic on gmal is over https, not just the login page alone unlike a while ago).
