AI-Powered Autonomous Digital Experience Management (ADEM), built for Prisma SASE, empowers IT operations teams to increase productivity and deliver exceptional application experience for users working from anywhere. With AI-Powered ADEM’s holistic observability and built-in AIOps, businesses automate complex IT operations, reduce ticket volume, and shorten mean time to resolution (MTTR).

AI-powered ADEM currently supports both Prisma SD-WAN and third-party branch sites. This document outlines the key features and differences between AI-powered ADEM on Prisma SD-WAN and third-party branch sites.

C. Feature Details:

1. ADEM Cloud agents for application and service monitoring : Monitor SaaS and private applications performance and SLAs from all deployed Prisma Access locations. ADEM cloud agents are automatically enabled on deployed Prisma Access locations without having to install a separate agent in the branch office.

2. ML-powered anomaly detection with dynamic baselining : Proactively detect anomalies by observing deviations from normal behavior with visibility into impact analysis and top factors contributing to the anomalous behavior. For example, higher than normal RTT impacts user experience in branch office due to specific app consuming higher than expected bandwidth. Another example where AI-Powered ADEM detected fewer than normal user count in the branch office on any given day due to auth failure events.

3. Predictive capacity planning : Predictive capacity analytics help you stay ahead of demands and avoid shortages. You’ll know ahead of time the number of users that will be impacted when sites get oversubscribed and proactively execute capacity planning to avoid downtime.

4. Problem symptom isolation and root cause analysis : With AI-Powered ADEM’s correlation power, various anomalies impacting user’s experience in the branch office are correlated with potential impact and root cause analysis. For example : BGP flaps,  high RTT on tunnels, and application experience will be automatically correlated as a single incident removing the burden of manual correlations and guide administrators to resolutions using playbooks with predefined remediation steps.

5. Security Policy analysis for branch users having trouble accessing an application : Efficient and comprehensive troubleshooting using a natural language query interface where operators can investigate the issue across multiple domains including security policy analysis. When a branch user is denied access, AI-Powered ADEM’s Access Analyzer capability can help you pinpoint the root cause and troubleshoot faster.

6. Application performance monitoring from all active and backup branch WAN paths : For Prisma SD WAN enabled branch sites, AI-Powered ADEM provides visibility into all monitored applications availability and performance, hop-by-hop internet service provider performance and tunnel performance for all active and backup WAN paths.
