Fuel User Group is hosting a Virtual Spark User Summit on Tuesday, March 19 at 9:30 a.m. PT with two speakers who will share their expertise on Dealing with Threats.
We invite you to join this live virtual event where you can gain insights into enhancing threat hunting techniques, mastering rapid breach response, and using a suite of tools to aid you.
Empower your organization with actionable threat intelligence at no significant cost. Delve into zero-day vulnerability response intricacies and explore automation's role in revolutionizing cybersecurity. Don't miss out on learning how to leverage automation against emerging threats.
There will be two sessions, each lasting about 45 minutes each.
This talk will cover how XSOAR TIM works, why it works the way that it does, and will cover the entire lifecycle of an IOC (Incident Of Compromise). The presentation will go through the moment it enters the system through to the point it is exported or shared as well as explain why everything happens the way that it does.
Speaker:
Dror Avrahami
Threat Intelligence Architect
Dror served for about 10 years as an Intelligence officer in the IDF. He then became a civilian and worked for a year and a half as an intelligence analyst in the Israeli National Cyber Directorate. He then spent four and a half years in ThreatSTOP (a California-based startup) and for the past almost three years been part of PANW working on our XSOAR TIM platform.
In today's constantly evolving threat landscape, organizations must be prepared to defend against sophisticated malware and zero-day vulnerabilities, even with the most robust security defenses in place. When facing a critical zero-day vulnerability, swift detection and response are paramount to minimizing the risk of a breach and mitigating potential damage.
Join us for an illuminating session where we'll delve into a zero-day vulnerability scenario and demonstrate how automation can significantly expedite the response process, empowering your team to swiftly move from discovery to remediation.
Speaker:
Ben Melamed
Principal Security Architect
With nearly 10 years of experience in the Incident Response field, Ben has since served six years in the government sector, initially as an analyst and later leading the DFIR team at GOV IL. Following his tenure in the public sector, he transitioned to the private sector, where he has spent the past three years as a Security Architect in the Cortex group at Palo Alto Networks.
