Earlier this year we announced our software as a service (SaaS) offering with the Cortex XSOAR 8 release. XSOAR 8 offers the benefits of tight integration with the industry-leading Cortex platform and its other cybersecurity products. In addition, XSOAR 8 delivers new capabilities and features designed to boost the effectiveness and efficiency of the security operations center (SOC).
XSOAR 8.4
The launch of the XSOAR SaaS solution isn’t the end of our journey but rather the beginning of an exciting new chapter, the chapter of automation simplification.
XSOAR, as the leader of the SOAR market, provides valuable content out of the box and enables organizations to automate their simple and most complex security processes to save SOC analysts time and provide a faster mean time to response (MTTR).
Writing complex automation and handling many edge cases requires complex automation support, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and integration. XSOAR 8.4 includes a series of improvements aimed at simplifying the life of automation engineers, XSOAR admins, and SOC analysts.
Highlights of Cortex XSOAR 8.4 include the following:
Our commitment to our customers' success extends beyond delivering new software. We are closely partnering with our customers to assist them in migrating to the new XSOAR 8 offering, where they can benefit from the full potential of a unified Cortex architecture, with improved scalability and reliability - and for SaaS users - without the overhead of maintenance.
We understand that transitioning to a new platform can seem daunting, so we created a dedicated new tool to guide our customers through every step of the migration process. The XSOAR migration tool will help you mitigate settings differences and complete your user acceptance testing (UAT) before scheduling transition in a time that is convenient for you. Our goal is to minimize any disruption to your XSOAR environments during the migration process and ensure a smooth and transparent transition to the new platform.
The release of our Cortex XSOAR 8 SaaS version earlier this year, marks a pivotal moment in our product journey. XSOAR 8, built on the Cortex platform, not only offered cloud-native performance and scalability but also a unified UI and UX for seamless user experience across the Cortex portfolio. XSOAR 8.4 and upcoming releases build on that foundation and add automation simplification, interface enhancements, and better value out of the box.
More information can be found in the Cortex XSOAR 8 release notes and FAQ.
