Community-Updates-November-2025_palo-alto-networks.jpg

We are pleased to announce the latest platform release for the Palo Alto Networks LIVEcommunity, bringing key enhancements designed to improve content discovery, streamline navigation, and boost overall user experience.

These updates are now live, ensuring you can connect with peers and find the information you need faster than ever before.

This release focuses on optimizing how you discover critical information and interact with the community's newest discussions.

What's New

Automated Featured Posts

The "Featured Posts" section on the homepage now utilizes an advanced algorithm to automatically identify and promote the most critical, trending, and highly-rated content across all articles and blogs. This ensures that essential knowledge, critical advisories, and popular expert articles are prominently displayed and rotate frequently, making it easier for you to stay up-to-date with key Palo Alto Networks solutions and insights.

Improved

Community Activity Filtering and Layout

  • We have completely redesigned the "Community Activity" section to provide a more intuitive and powerful experience. New dynamic filters allow you to sort discussions by solution type, thread age, and engagement level (Views, Replies, Likes). The refreshed layout offers cleaner visual separation between posts, improving readability and helping you quickly identify new, unsolved, or expert-verified conversations.
  • The enhanced sorting functionality now applies to all forms of activity, including articles, and blogs, not just discussion threads. This provides a unified view of the most relevant content across the entire community.
To further enhance usability, we have introduced distinct visual iconography for different content types (e.g., a "book" for knowledge-base articles, a "speech bubble" for discussions, a "pen" icon for blogs) and status markers (e.g., "check mark" for solved). This new visual language significantly speeds up content identification.
