Cortex XDR Periodic Endpoint Scanning schedule

We have a new compliance requirement to  Perform periodic scans of the system at least every 72 hours and real-time scans of files.  We currently have the schedule set to scan weekly.  But I do not see the option to scan more frequently.  Is there a workaround to increase the frequency of periodic scanning?

Unfortunately the shortest frequency schedule for periodic scan is weekly only. This helps to avoid bandwidth consumption and resource utilisation too often.

Alternate to periodic scan is on demand scans which can be achieved from Action Center and Endpoint administration table. For windows, end users can initiate a file/folder scan from machine itself. Please refer below document for more details.
