We are happy to inform you that the Cortex XDR agent 7.9.3 maintenance release is scheduled for General Availability (GA) on July 31st, 2023. Our maintenance releases resolve known issues and enhance performance, and we strongly recommend that you always upgrade to the newest release of the latest agent line.

Hope you are doing well. Please note that this is going to be a maintenance release for our Agent version 7.9.3. The latest agent version available is version 8.1, however, for customers who are on version 7.9.3 by choice will find this maintenance release beneficial as many issues have been fixed as seen in the link here.

Thank you for writing to live community! The cortex xdr agent version though old/outdated is still correct. The agent version is a maintenance release for 7.9.x version. 7.9, though outdated is not end of life. We release maintenance releases for agent versions for bug fix and as a result 7.9.3 was released.
