How to delete Endpoints that have old agent and could not be uninstalled

L0 Member

Hello,

I have 2 endpoints with old version:

- 7.3.0.16740 on a server

- 8.6.0.3704 on a computer

I could not upgrade them and have no more access to those computers (in another country).

I asked admin to uninstall, he did not.

How to remove link between Agent and Cortex XDR server to recover the licenses.

Thank you in advance for any help

Hi @S.MASSON

As it is not clear if the sysadmin did not want to uninstall or was not able to uninstall, I will give you all the options:

  1. Right clicking on the endpoints, endpoint control ---> Uninstall Agent you can uninstall from tenant.
  2. If it does not work Open a TAC support ticket to get the agent cleaner from them and the instructions on how to proceed rebooting in safe mode etc...
  3.  To delete the endpoints from the endpoint table. Right clicking on the endpoints, endpoint control ---> Delete Endpoint. Later your sysadmin can remove the agent using the agent cleaner

If you feel this has answered your query, please let us know by clicking like and on "mark this as a Solution".

Thank you.

Does the agent still work? Maybe you could run the agent cleaner from a remote session.. kinda like Skeletor breaking his own mirror as he walks through
