Hello dear community,
Is there a active protection or a passive alert against crawling for kdbx data?

If not, has anyone an idea how to be alerted, if someone wants to do some bad things with the kbdx files?

Hi Rob,
Cortex XDR Analytic Alerts are able to identify abnormal activity on your network and offer coverage for a variety of MITRE attack tactics, including discovery. There are several relevant Analytics Alerts that could be raised in the case of crawling for kdbx, including multiple discovery commands, cached credentials, possible search for password files, etc.
Our engineers would love to investigate any proof-of-concept that you may have regarding the crawling method and can be reached out via support at support.paloaltonetworks.com. A coverage request can be submitted to TAC to forward the request to engineering appropriately.
