Periodic scan of shared folders

L0 Member

I have a question about "Periodic scan".

Is it possible to periodically scan a shared folder mounted as a network disk by a Windows Server OS virtual machine?

The purpose is to periodically scan multiple shared folders (SMB).

Unfortunately periodic scanning will not scan the shared network disks. Scope of scan is limited to OS file system and locally mounted disks along with removable media drives (optionally).

Additionally for VDIs we do not recommend periodic scan. VDI machine scans are based on the golden image and additional files will be examined upon execution.
