Dear community,
Recently I noticed there are some suspicious files in some of our SharePoint folders. I'm wondering if it's possible to somehow scan SharePoint sites, network shares, or even other cloud storage using Cortex!

The answer is that you will need XDR agent installed on those servers that have connected the disks on which you want to make a scan.
Anyways remember that scan is a tedious job that requires a lot of resources.
XDR is not meant to be used intensively as an old antivirus scanning everywhere (even though you can schedule scans or launch them per needs).
If there is a malious file and somebody tries to open from an endpoint with XDR installed = it will be detected and blocked later alerted on. Dormant malware is not dangerous until it is executed/triggered and at this point XDR kicks in.
