Hey all,
We deployed Cortex XDR a few months ago and since then our developers have been very frustrated with the performance of VSCode.
When VSCode is launched the Cortex XDR Service on the system spikes heavily with CPU usage, and VSCode takes an absolute age to start. If we disable protection with Cortex (or just uninstall), VSCode is snappy.
I've come across one other LIVE Community post about this issue, but no solutions were mentioned. Anyone else having this problem? More importantly, anyone know how to resolve?
Thanks!

Hello @JNester ,
If XDR is indeed the reason behind bad performance of VSCode then performance can be improved by figuring out which particular security modules are creating problem and then eventually disable/create exception for it. For this logs needs to be analysed. Hence please open a TAC support case.
