Hi,
I'm curious as to why the Cortex XDR Data Lake is under PA Hub Gateway Applications, but Cortex is not.

Hey @MartaS all roles for Cortex XDR are managed with XDR itself. Hub apps are for other applications that integrate with XDR (like Cloud Identity Engine).

I'm not sure I fully understand your question. Cortex can apply to XDR, XSOAR and XPANSE, some of which are available in the Hub.
