Not able to update expedition to latest version due to error on $apt-get update

Question

 

I am getting below errors when issue $sudo apt-get update to update expedition to the latest package, how do I fix it ?

Answer

 

Run below command:

sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/*

Then run below commands for updating Expedition to the latest version:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install expedition-beta

$su  (This will prompt you to enter root password)

$rm /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/*
