I have expedition installed on Ubuntu server 20.04.5 in Vmware Workstation using NAT with the ip 192.168.186.x
Everything is working fine when i am connected to my WIFI, able to ping, traceroute, access to login page and login. But when I am not connected to any network, I am unable to login. although I am able to ping/traceroute/access login page.
I even created additional users to test, to no avail.
Is there any whitelisted ip or settings i am supposed to configure?

@franciumf No whitelist needed, when you are not connected to internet , can you try to change the vmware network setting from nat to bridge , see if it works.
