Feature Request: login attribute/ldap prefix for ldap auth

L1 Bithead

There is currently no way to specifiy a prefix login attribute for binding to a ldap server. Our linux ldap server needs a DN along the lines of 'uid=<userid>,dc=<part1>,dc=<part2>' I can put the ',dc=<part1>,dc=<part2>' in the suffix but I have no way to force a prefix.

Thanks

Hi,

We currently have not implemented to use of account-prefix for LDAP authentication, but the adldap2 module that were are using in Expedition supports it (if I am not mistaken).

We will check the needed changed in the implementation to support the prefix as well.
