Merge objects Expedition

L0 Member

Hello,

Can someone please explain or provide me with ressources to understand the merging capability of duplicate objects in expedition. how does it work ? how does it effect the policies that can be impacted and how to merge duplicates in a correct way (knowing that i will be directly doing this on production environment)
Thanks

Hi @nour55 In Expedition , you have three options on merging objects with the same name, you can view the objects with same name on the dashboard , it will show under "duplicate" column . please see screenshot :

Once you performed the merge, the policy will auto populate with the merged object . what you did in Expedition, will not impact your production environment , until you push the config via API or load the config onto firewall or panorama .
