Using Expedition without a direct connection to Firewall

L0 Member

I want to use Expedition to migrate from an ASA to a Palo Alto NGFW. The network where Expedition is installed does not have connectivity to either device. Is there any way to import a blank PA-NGFW config and the ASA config into Expedition so I can begin configuring the firewall in Expedition?  Currently, I can't add a device because there is no connectivity to it. When I try to import an ASA or Palo config, it is stuck on initializing.

Hi @bbb1381 You don't need to add device , you can export the running config from firewall and import it in the import tab .  Few things to check:

1. Make sure you are running the latest version v1.2.59

2. Check dashboard ,make sure agent is started with green check mark and no red warning on the right panel, if there are failed internal checks on the right panel , please fix it by following the instructions stated for each failed check.
