4.0.2 vs 4.0.1 package update size

L4 Transporter

Hello,

I noticed a good size difference in package size from .1 (276MB) to .2 (141MB).  When updating from 3.x - is it recommended to start with 4.0.1 and then go to 4.0.2? Or going right to .2 is acceptable? Thanks!

Mike

You should upgrade to 4.0.1 and then upgrade to the latest available version of 4.0.x.

Perfect.  Glad I asked.  Thanks!

There is no need to upgrade to 4.0.1. You can directly upgrade to 4.0.2 from 3.1.x. Only thing that you have to make sure is you have 4.0.1 base image downloaded.
