Hi,
after i make a Factory Reset via Maintenance Mode with this HowTo -> https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/Management-Articles/How-to-SSH-into-Maintenance-Mode/ta-p/59635 i cant connect via "www" to the management.
My new IP is default 192.168.1.1 and i can ping it. when connect via ssh i login with admin:admin then i see the message "System initializing; please wait... (CTRL-C to bypass) .. i wait more then 30min nothing. Then when i press CTRL-C i get the message Cannot connect to management server.
I cant start the process
debug software restart process management-server
and with show ..
> show system resources | match mgmtsrvr
i see nothing.
Via serial cable there is the same problem.
i have panOS 8.0.8.
When i use the Web login with admin:admin i get the message Connecting to Management Server failed.
Any one an idea?
Its an PA200 with panOS 8.0.8

can you try rebooting (unplug-replug) and see what happens
a PA-200 is a little slower to boot up but should not take 30 minutes after a factory reset (after an upgrade this could be possible)
If the problem persists, you may want to go into maintenance mode again and try running some diagnostics : https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/Management-Articles/How-to-Run-a-Hard-Disk-Drive-Performance-Te...

Hi, I'm also experiencing this on my PA 820. Did you found out the root cause?

Unfortunately, no. I simply re-established the factory state.
