CNSE Anyone?

L0 Member

Just wondering if anyone out there has done the CNSE and can offer any advice regarding recommended reading etc?

Thanks

I contacted Paloalto Education / Certification and they told me that it will be a few weeks before we get any results.

Basically they have to tally up the scores and then come out with the results.

Test was pretty brutal, right?  216 questions and 4 hours..

"I would add IPSec VPN & its troubleshooting, and Global Protect SSL VPN."

Totally agree..  Global Protect was huge on the exam.

Hi Ersatz, Mark,

How does one sign up to take beta exams, if interested?

Regards,

Walter

Very challenging.  I took it 3wks ago, so thought I'd check up.

The beta seems brutal with 216 q's in 4 hrs when the actual exam is 60 q's in 2 hrs.  I would think PA allowed ample time, maybe a little extra, for 216 questions.

There was only enough time to read the quest one time through.

Walter...To schedule your CNSE 4.1 beta exam, please follow the following link:

Thanks, much appreciated.

All,

Unfortunately, registration ended on 3/23/2012..  Now you have to wait till 4.1 exam is released, or take the older 3.1 exam.

Not applicable

Does anybody have any practice question for CNSE 4.1 test?

What about CLI commands? Is this also important for the exam?

There are no CLI questions as far I can remember.

Only questions testing the ability to read CLI command output, but not the commands themselves

Also minimal or no Questions for

Dynamic routing

QoS

and

Policy-based forwarding
