What version of PAN-OS are you running? There's a somewhat recuring bug following commits where this can pop up. As long as it's transitory and it reconnects this isn't really that big of a deal. 

Hi, we have the same issues, but it's problematic due to causes service interruption. Any solution?

Hello, We also have this issue where our PA-5250 (PAN-OS 10.1.10) losses connection to our AD servers and since we have security policies that use AD OU groups to grant users access to the internet, once the PA losses connection to the AD servers no can access the internet. I would say this is a big deal as we have to restart the management server on the PA (> debug software restart process management-server) to get the PA to connect to the AD servers again or wait up to 3 hours. Unfortunately there is no "Issue ID" that I have seen for this and I would like to have a permanent fix for this.
