copy security profiles and log options

Hey all,

Do you find it annoying you can not copy security profiles and log options the way you can copy zones, objects, user, applications and services from one security rule to another through the GUI?

Manually adding the same security profile for a large number of rules requires a lot of clicking and can be quite time consuming.

I usually switch over to adjusting the configuration file in notepad++, but this is not ideal.

I have already send in a feature request for this, but if you guys like the idea, please send in a request as well to bump it up 🙂

You can do that more easilly with the migration tool 2.0 🙂

currently there is no way to push the configuration from the firewall to the Panorama.

However as you mentioned it would a good feature.

But interim you can talk to your local Sales Engineer or local partner. I believe there is a tool now to copy the configuration needed from firewall to Panorama.
