Hello All.
I’d like to know few things with respect to disk.
1. is it available to change Max disk size on PAN device?
In case of max disk size of PAN2050 is only allocated about45GB by default, even though total size of disk is about 160G.
So, I’d like to change default max size, if it possible.
2. Let me know default Max disk size of every each PAN appliances.
PA 500:
PA2020:
PA2050: approximately 45GB
PA4020:
PA4050: approximately 120GB
PA5020:
PA5050:
PA5060:
3. what kind of disk type does PA appliances have??
PA 5000series has a SSD type disk. But there is no information about rest of appliances.
SATA?? or SCSI??
Please let me know about my questions.
Thanks,
Eugene.

The amount of size "allocated" is what it reserves for logs/etc. There is other space used for things like firmware storage, debug logging, etc. I highly doubt that this is user-configurable, but I am curious to hear what PAN reps say.
The disk in a 20xx series is a normal SATA drive, I believe ours is a Western Digital or Seagate, IIRC it was 7200RPM though.

Uhm...PAN 500 with twice and more PAN 2020 hard disk (sda8) ?? Strange...
It would be useful to have a SpechSheet containing the various hard disk size per each device.

They should be the same now (160 GB). I suspect the 2020 shown is an older model that used to come with a smaller HD. (I think it was 80 GB). Only the PA-5000 has the option for 120 GB and 240 GB SSD.
Cheers,
Kelly
