deleting snapshots with long names (more than 32 characters )

Hi all,

 

is there a way to delete these files please?

 


admin@PA-440> delete config saved ?

migrated-frr-running-config.xml.error.last 2023/04/18 17:54:28 0.0K


migrated-frr-running-config.xml.last 2023/04/18 17:54:28 144.5K

migrated-frr-running-config.xml.error.last should be less than or equal to 32 characters

Invalid syntax.

@nevolex,

Unfortunately root partition access is the only way to clear these as @S.Cantwell mentioned short of completely resetting the box. Someone wasn't really thinking when they made the conversion process and used a filename that large. Thankfully the file isn't too large to persist on the box, and TAC hopefully doesn't ask you for the technical support file before they'll login and delete the file 🙂

I also attempted to upload a greater than 32character config file and it will not allow it to be imported.
I am not confident that the Live Community will have resolution.

I am suggesting a web ticket created with TAC and see if they can get access to the root partition and clear them out.
