when you create a dns Proxy policy you declare only the ingress interface
or egress interface ?

When you create a DNS proxy:
- Bind your proxy on User interface (Lan for exemple)
- Configure your users for using this interface as DNS.
The second point is very important. That's mean that you have to modify user DNS config.
It's not a transparent proxy.

but when you affect the interface to the policy you don't declare an ip address.
