I'm PA student, and learning DoS protection. I have a question, In Object > DoS Protection > Add profile > Resources Protection, Maximum Concurrent default value is 32768, but I can not press OK and prompt the value is 0 ~ 0x4e2, it is decimal 1250.
Why in doc or training video, those can input 32768?
And after finish DoS Protection setting, how am I to verify? show dos-protection rule [rule-name] statistics?
My PA is VM that version 8.0.0 and working on GNS3.
Infinite thanks,
Chin

Hello
Is the 8.0.0 FW registered and licensed on the PANW website?
If you are only looking at the GUI and not sending lab traffic in GNS3, it could be that the FW is not licensed, and therefore, will not allow configurations on an otherwise unlicensed FW. Outside of that, 8.0.0 is 3 years (more or less) and you may want to try a 9.x version (if you can find it)
Good luck.
