Doubt about migrate FW to Panorama

L4 Transporter

Hello team,

I have a cluster of FW and Panorama both in version 10.2
Tomorrow I will migrate a FW cluster to be managed from Panorama following the following KB
https://knowledgebase.paloaltonetworks.com/KCSArticleDetail?id=kA10g000000ClZSCA0
Reviewing it, I have the doubt of when I should enable the option for the FW to receive the policies and objects from Panorama.

Is this done automatically when the Export or push device config bundle is done by choosing the push and config option?

Thank you very much

Hi @Alpalo

If you are migrating your existing locally managed firewalls to the Panorama, you will first import each firewall config ( If firewalls are in HA ) into Panorama using option - Import device configuration to Panorama

In next steps, when you create Template and Device Groups, then you will push device config bundles to the firewall using option - Export or push device config bundle

Follow each steps given here. This will give you more clarity.

Migrate a Firewall HA Pair to Panorama Management and Reuse Existing Configuration

Hope it helps!
